What We Care About
Here at Doggonetags, we are big into rescue and for so many reasons, we do a lot of advocating for it.
Doggonetags began after the adoption of one little rescue. She was pulled on the day she was supposed to be euthanized, brought to DC by DC Luckydog. Georgie has been an inspiration and a daily joyful gift. “Who rescued who?” Here at Doggonetags, the answer is pretty clear!
There’s a special place in our hearts for people who work tirelessly to help homeless animals and those critters looking for their forever homes. Whatever part we can take to help that happen, makes our lives fuller.
So if you’re looking to add another furry family member to your home, or you have room to foster, we’d encourage you to get in touch with your local shelter or rescue group. Small donations can matter. Time, or money, or goods, matter. Passing along a page that has a hopeful pet looking for a home matters. Making a difference feels SO good!
